Bologna FC 1909 Announce Bepro As Their New Official Performance Analysis Partner
Following the recent news of our partnership with AC Monza, we are excited to announce that we have entered a multi-season agreement with Serie A club Bologna FC 1909, becoming the club’s Official Performance Analysis Provider. This partnership has already begun - we have been providing Bologna’s youth academy with the highest quality of tactical video and data for every match.
This agreement demonstrates Bologna’s ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of footballing talent. Having previously been responsible for such greats as Roberto Mancini and Gianluca Pagliuca, the club have selected Bepro and our world class analysis platform to help them better identify and develop players for their first team.
Match video is captured through the Bepro Fixed Camera Systems installed in Bologna’s facility. These capture a fully interactive, panoramic view of the pitch, with artificial intelligence also being applied to the video feeds to create an automated scouting feed that follows the action without missing any key player movements.
Those working at the club will now be able to breakdown every moment of the match thanks to Bepro event data, which is collected by a team of experts using the same panoramic video feed used by the club. Each on-ball event will be analysed and linked to a video clip, providing context and a visual reference for each statistic.
The club will also be receiving Bepro tracking data. Footage from the Fixed Camera Systems is processed by artificial intelligence to provide both positional and physical data for each match. The first of these adds additional context to each match event, showing line breaking passes, set piece tactics and more. The latter gives insight on distance covered, speed and more without the need for wearable GPS devices.
Everything is easily accessed through the Bepro11 app. Backroom staff and players will be able to review performances, using both video and data, wherever they are. The platform makes it easier to understand what has happened on the pitch thanks to interactive data visualisations and customisable PDF reports. The club will also be using the Bepro Editor to cut, annotate and share video playlists across the club to provide invaluable feedback.
This agreement empowers the club’s analysis and coaching departments. Backroom staff will no longer need to manually film and code games and can instead focus on reviewing performance information and providing tactical insights.
