Energie Cottbus Supports Youth Development Through Performance Analysis
After a season heavily interrupted and ultimately cancelled thanks to Coronavirus, Energie Cottbus are making investments in their club’s infrastructure that sees them expanding the performance analysis services they receive from Bepro.
Energie Cottbus are no strangers to Bepro, having used the service for the last one and a half seasons to provide the senior teams with performance analysis. As the first team focuses on pushing for a return to the 3. Liga next season, the new agreement will support the club’s development sides with video and data.
Given their track record of producing young players, it’s no surprise that Cottbus have decided to have the matches played by their U14, U15 and U16 boys’ sides also analysed by Bepro. Coaches and analysts will be able to review key moments from each game with video and data, providing invaluable evidence for short term performance improvements and longer-term player development.

With the matches played by the U17, U19 and 1st teams already being analysed in full by Bepro, the addition of these three age groups provides Cottbus with consistent data and video for the wider club. The performances of those playing in the same position can be compared across age groups and development can be measured objectively over multiple seasons.
